Acceptable Use Policy
1. Who it's for
CareerCaseOS is for one person managing their own career. Use it to prepare for your own conversations, in your own words.
2. You may not
The individual-only (B2C) rule
- Use the Service or any Output to evaluate, score, rank, compare, profile, monitor or make hiring, promotion, pay, discipline or termination decisions about anyone else.
- Use the Service on behalf of, or for, an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, HR function, people-analytics vendor or similar, or feed Outputs into any employer-facing dashboard or workforce tool.
- Resell, sublicense or share access to your account, or build a competing employer-facing or people-scoring product.
Confidential information and other people's data
- Enter or upload your employer's (or anyone's) trade secrets, confidential or proprietary information, customer or client data, non-public financials, source code, credentials or security details, or anything covered by an NDA or confidentiality duty, unless you are clearly allowed to share it with a third-party service.
- Enter sensitive personal information about other people (for example, their health, family, immigration status, pay, performance or disciplinary details), or more personal detail about anyone than you need. Prefer role labels ("my manager") to names.
Honesty and deception
- Use Outputs to make claims you know are false, or to fabricate results, metrics, references or credentials.
- Use rehearsal voices, illustrated characters or scripts to impersonate a real person, to create material that appears to be a recording of a real conversation, or to deceive anyone ("deepfakes"). Rehearsal videos are for private practice only.
- Secretly record real conversations, or use the Service in any way that breaks recording-consent, wiretap or privacy laws (some places require everyone's consent to record).
Security and the platform
- Access another person's account or data, probe or test our security without written permission, or bypass rate limits, plan limits, device pairing or access controls.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer or extract our templates, prompts, models or source code, or overload the Service.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or infringes someone's rights.
- Try to get AI features to produce illegal or harmful content, or to get around their safeguards.
3. What we may do
If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or end accounts, in proportion to what happened and with notice where reasonable (Terms of Service, section 15). Export and deletion stay available unless the law prevents it.
4. The community
If you take part in the community, the Community Guidelines also apply to what you post there.
5. Reporting
Report misuse or a security issue to [email protected]. If you found a security problem, tell us what you saw and how to reproduce it, and please give us a reasonable time to fix it before you tell anyone else. We will not take action against you for a report made in good faith.
